The Role:

Farrynheight is looking for an experienced, social-media-minded Associate Director of Content, to lead a growing original content team. This role requires a creative powerhouse who thrives in the fast-turning world of social media and content, with a deep understanding of both high-fidelity campaign productions and low-fidelity, owned and creator-driven content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for graphic design, and the ability to drive a team to produce innovative and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert on the growth of Farrynheight’s original content team, bringing to the table fresh perspectives on rapid production, hi-fi and low-fi storytelling and future business opportunities in content. 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with clients' marketing goals and leverage the unique strengths of social media platforms.
  • Oversee the production of a wide range of content, including static designs, motion graphics, and video, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.
  • Drive the ideation process for social-first content, staying ahead of trends and pushing creative boundaries to deliver impactful and innovative campaigns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance of content across all social media channels.
  • Establish strong, collaborative ties with the Social Media team, working closely with client leads and clients to understand their needs and objectives, translating them into creative content solutions.
  • Support teams in the creative analysis of content performance using insights to refine strategies and improve future content.
  • Lead, mentor and grow a talented content creation team, internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior content creation role, preferably within an agency or media company setting.
  • Experience developing and leading video-first campaign projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing the direction and execution of a range of social media content, from static and motion graphics to video productions.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating creative teams.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creative tools such as Figma, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro and more.
  • Strong time management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for social media and a deep understanding of its role in modern marketing.
