Healthcare Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for improving patient care and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our facility runs smoothly, meets regulatory requirements, and delivers high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, including patient services, clinical and administrative functions, and staff management.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Quality Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care quality, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Budget Management: Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, including accreditation and licensing requirements.
• Patient Satisfaction: Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, address patient concerns, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, prepare reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize service delivery.
• Project Management: Lead and manage special projects, including facility upgrades, new program implementations, and process enhancements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field required. Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or management roles, with a proven track record of successful team leadership and operational improvement.
• Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in healthcare management software and tools.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement practices, and financial management in a healthcare setting.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Healthcare Executive, Certified Medical Manager) are a plus.
