Description The Channel Account Manager is primarily responsible for net new business generated by a set of named identity partners, including but not limited to Cyberark, Sailpoint, and Ping. This person is also responsible for facilitating Cyderes’ “sell with partners” motion as an interface between our Account Executive Sales team and named Partners. Success comes by optimizing our joint GTM that results in new pipeline, ARR growth, and market share gains.
The Channel Manager will enable partners to become proficient in promoting and selling Cyderes’ ISVs partners to arrange and sponsor partner/end-user events, meetings, connect selling resources, strategic territory planning, business plans, QBR, target account identification, and travel as appropriate to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage identity vendor partnerships in the North America with focus on Cyberark, Sailpoint, and Ping
Drive new sales through partner enablement, account mapping exercises, and understanding the partners’ market vision to align to their go-to-market strategy
Promote and educate partners and internal Sales on products, services, and sales/marketing initiatives
Handle partner concerns, issues, and escalations; overseas holistic partner relationship as main point of contact
Proactively engage with the needs of colleagues, partners, and partner sales teams
Enable and align with regional teams on co-selling and orchestrate proactive workflows to Customer Success and delivery teams
Prepare and deliver presentations around solutions, key objectives, and metrics to executives, sales (non-technical) and technical stakeholders with the support of cross-functional teams internally
Provide feedback and suggestions for program improvement to align to Partner Status requirements to maintain top tier status
Leverage available resources to drive partner behavior and improve partner-generated sales
Assist field sales to accelerate partner-sourced pipeline
Requirements
5+ years’ experience with Channel and in a Cybersecurity company, building and managing strategic partnerships
Ability to manage and grow partnerships that deliver value added services in Managed Security Services, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Security (PAM)
Must have experience in a hybrid sales environment of direct and indirect sales, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Must have a strong technical aptitude, strong person drive, passion, enthusiasm and ethics
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with team members and customers at all levels
