Technical Account Manager - SOC Services - REMOTE

Description

Binary Defense (BD) is seeking a talented Technical Account Manager (TAM).

As a TAM, you are the liaison between the customer and BD’s internal teams. Internally, you are the glue between SecOps and our Customer Success Managers. You are a technical savant with polished communication skills who enjoys working directly with our most strategic customers to tackle complex challenges and deliver amazing levels of service. TAMs provide technical expertise and recommendations for engaging via our products/services; and articulate the value through reporting and collaboration. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement to the customer experience by collaborating with CS to identify opportunities to expand business within the Binary Defense portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Bring order to chaos by leading multiple customer initiatives and drive momentum for continuous service improvement.
  • Develop relationships with technical/key stakeholders to understand the customer’s business with a focus on Strategic, Tier 1, and ‘at-risk’ customers.
  • Lean into opportunities where T2 customers that have potential for growth to Tier 1.
  • Participating in QBRs and annual initiative review to understand security needs and provide technical expertise.
  • Create detailed reports and deliver presentations on the clients' security posture and progress towards their security goals.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Services, and SOC to ensure customer success during critical moments.
  • Advocate for customer needs to increase usage and adopt new feature development.
  • Identify issues in product/service functionality or unexpected behaviors. Be a Technical Voice of the Customer across the BD organization.
  • Ability to analyze client engagement, business, and proactively identify opportunities for improvements and growth.
  • Assist in SOC reporting, investigations, and client requests and partner with internal teams to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
  • Collaborate and support client services in how to be proactive in support and providing guidance to clients.
  • Serve as an escalation point for client incidents and issues, coordinating with the SOC to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Keep clients informed of security trends, threats, and industry best practices, and make recommendations to improve their security posture.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including experience with various SIEM and Endpoint Protection platforms, such as Splunk, Devo, AlienVault USMA, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, etc.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a technical consultant or engineer in a client-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both operators and non-technical stakeholders. Credibility in communication is a key attribute for success.
  • Experience in a high growth organization where you are expected to contribute to decisions regarding tools and processes for scalability.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification in cybersecurity, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar is a plus.
