Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior executives in the retail and consumer packaged goods (Client) industries. This role is crucial in representing our company and selling our retail services and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Nurture Executive Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives in the retail and Client sectors, including CEOs, CMOs, and other decision-makers.
- Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and target potential clients, including leading retail chains, Client companies, and related businesses.
- Solution Selling: Promote and sell our retail services and technology solutions, demonstrating how they can effectively optimize store operations, elevate customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.
- Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and successfully closing deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential areas of growth and improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and our offerings.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, generate regular reports on sales progress, and present updates to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of documented success in business development and sales within the retail and Client industries.
- Verifiable track record of progressive sales achievements.
- Established network of relationships with senior executives in retail and Client companies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate complex technology solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to excel.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
