Today at Intersolar, our CEO Stefano Lorenzi participated in the European Solar PV Industry Alliance Forum within the CEO Panel, "Assessing the Impact and Effectiveness of the Upcoming Regulatory Framework". In this engaging session, industry leaders delved into the Net Zero Industry Act's role as a key enabler for scaling the EU industry to achieve ambitious targets, including manufacturing 40% of clean tech supply within the EU. During the panel, our CEO reiterated the importance for the EU to become a leader in research and development of solar technologies for increasingly competitive, long-lasting and efficient photovoltaic modules. 4moMore important is to put now primary focus on rebuilding full pv value chain from raw material to panel in which each party can make a decent margin. Optimization and innovation can only take place if a full healthy chain is available as process steps in this chain impact eachother. And in line with EU ambition you need regional chain to include end of panel life recycling. Healthy businesses will fund R&D. Much to do but possible if companies work together.
