One of my favorite parts of recruiting is connecting with people who look past the “work” and see the growth, purpose, and potential in every role. If you’re someone who’s willing to update that CV, take an online assessment, or hop on a quick call, don’t let the effort (or a remote format) scare you away. There are incredible opportunities out there, including ones that embrace flexible or remote work arrangements. Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your next big career move is the decision to step up and go for it. #JobSearch #CareerGoals #WorkFromAnywhere #RemoteWork #RecruiterLife #JobHunt #Nexteam

I’ve got to vent about a recurring issue we’re seeing lately. We’ve been receiving applications for positions that clearly state they are ON-SITE (ie NOT REMOTE). We put in the effort to detail expectations in the job description, and yet, when we extend offers, candidates back out—often at the last minute—citing remote work preferences. It's disheartening for everyone involved. This not only wastes valuable time and resources for our team, but it also impacts the overall hiring process and slows down our clients' projects. To all job seekers: Please read the job descriptions thoroughly and consider if the role aligns with your preferences before applying. Transparency is key! We’re all trying to find the right fit—let’s make the process smoother and more respectful for everyone. #RemoteWork #JobSeeking #OnsiteWork #HiringChallenges #RespectTheProcess

Job seekers deserve clear communication from companies posting job openings. Remote and hybrid roles are not interchangeable. It's frustrating to apply for a remote position only to discover it's actually hybrid and may require relocation. Let's save everyone's time by being transparent from the start. #JobSearch #RemoteWork #HybridRoles #RecruitmentAdvice

Never Compromise Who You Are for a Job ✨ Jobs come and go, but your values are a permanent part of who you are. It's tempting to mold yourself to fit the demands or culture of a job, especially in today’s competitive job market. However, compromising your core values for a temporary position can lead to long-term dissatisfaction and can damage your sense of self-worth. ___________________________________ ✨ To apply for daily inclusive remote opportunities, check out inclusivelyremote.com #careertips #remotework #remotejobs #jobseekersupport #workfromanywhere #workculture #vaues

Dear Job Posters, Let’s set the record straight: if a job is listed as "REMOTE" but requires occasional office visits or proximity to an office, it’s a hybrid role, not fully remote. 🌍🏢 True remote work means no in-office presence is required. If there's any expectation to come into the office, even just occasionally, it’s a hybrid setup. Clear and accurate job listings save job seekers time and frustration, helping them avoid those "wait, I have to come in?" surprises and ensuring they can focus on roles that truly match their needs. Let’s be transparent and make the job search smoother for everyone. Please update your listings accordingly and help us all find the perfect fit! Some companies still don't seem to understand the difference between remote work and hybrid work (or the importance of flexibility). A year ago, I was headhunted for what seemed like the perfect role: a senior position at a mid-sized company with a number of strategic initiatives that aligned with my skills. It was advertised as fully remote—something I confirmed with the headhunter. During the interview, they dropped a bombshell: "We want to talk about what remote work means for us. What that looks like for our company is that you would get 1 day per week to work from home, but you would have to be in our downtown office the other 4 days per week." Needless to say, I didn't take the job. Months later, it still wasn’t filled. More and more professionals are looking for greater flexibility, and companies that can't keep up will struggle to attract top talent. Have you experienced anything similar? Notes from a recruiter…Here’s the number one reason why remote work is a huge advantage to employers and job seekers: It creates opportunities that didn’t previously exist or wouldn’t exist otherwise. ☑️ Expanded talent pool ☑️ No relocation factors Yes, we can go deep into the other factors as to why flexible working environments (this don’t just mean remote based work) are the way forward but this is a huge benefit from a talent perspective. As a hiring manager, if you’re not seeing the talent you need, stop for a minute and consider what making this role remote based would do and how it could work to really be able to find the skill set you need in the role. If it can’t be remote, what other possibilities are there to open up the talent pool? #recruitment #talentaquisition #hiringstrategy #flexiblework #remotework
