Did anyone else notice the sponsorship tweak in the Liverpool v Chelsea game yesterday? ⚽️ Standard Chartered creatively switched their sponsorship from the usual company logo on Liverpool Football Club’s home shirt in favour of promoting their Futuremakers programme: 👉 Dedicated to helping the next generation earn, learn and grow. 👉 Focused on breaking down barriers to opportunity and empowering the next generation to make meaningful contributions to the world around them. 👉 Deploy their knowledge and expertise alongside partner organisations to reach talented young people from underrepresented backgrounds with the potential to achieve great things. 👉 The UK programme aims to give social innovators in London and Liverpool access to the skills, grant funding and support that will boost their prospects for success. I think it’s refreshing to see businesses being creative with their sponsorship mid-campaign as a way to promote their ESG programs whilst doing no harm to their employer brand! Hats off Standard Chartered with an important campaign and programme, plus Liverpool Football Club on an important win! #Liverpool | #Chelsea | #LivChe | #ESG | #Upskilling https://lnkd.in/eqAxfGjZ

The clock is ticking... As we are now just 6 months away from the 2024 ICMIF Biennial Conference in Buenos Aires (Argentina), CEO Designate Liz Green shares some of the common themes and issues that have arisen in recent conversations with leaders across the ICMIF membership; and why attending #ICMIFConf2024 represents the perfect opportunity to witness the immeasurable value that the collaboration, inspiration and assistance from ICMIF's global membership network can bring... "...our members are, in the main, optimistic about the opportunities to mitigate the new emerging risks and take advantage of opportunities. The best performing members are typically the collaborators; hence our Conference theme #CollaboratingWithPurpose". These organisations seek inspiration outside their markets and welcome opportunities to see challenges and opportunities from new perspectives." The 2024 ICMIF Biennial Conference agenda will not only lean-in towards the tougher topics we are all facing, but will also inspire positive action. Each day we will also share how ICMIF can support. Liz adds, "And so this fast-moving and ever-changing world is an increasing challenge for every leader’s diary. The clock is ticking and it feels as though there’s never enough time. But, by setting time aside now in your diary to attend this year’s Conference in November, means you won’t miss out. My final thoughts that I invite you to consider are: 1. This event is only once every two years. 2. It’s an exclusive global network of your contemporaries. 3. It will be time well spent. Read more of Liz's thoughts below... #OnlyatICMIF #ConnectingMutualsGlobally #LeadingwithPurpose #ConnectCurateCultivate #Mutual #Cooperative #Mutualinsurance #Insurance https://lnkd.in/eNPpiMwS
