Our team in EMEA welcomed Belit Onay, Mayor of Hanover, and Anja Ritschel, Head of Economic Affairs for the City of Hannover, to our Clarios EMEA Headquarters and the production site in Hanover. Dr. Barbora Kasanicka, VP Human Resources, and Dr Christian Rosenkranz, VP of Sustainability & Corporate Affairs EMEA, showed our training workshop and the production facilities for vehicle batteries to the visitors. In Hanover, we produce advanced low-voltage batteries essential for all vehicle types - from internal combustion engines to hybrids and electric vehicles. During the tour we focused on our strong vertical integration, including the pre-production of battery active materials, and how our lead-acid batteries are produced today. We are proud to contribute to the transformation of the automotive industry and thank Belit Onay and Anja Ritschel for their time and interest in Clarios. #Clarios #AutomotiveIndustry #BatteryIndustry

Everyday things such as climbing stairs or tying shoes are taken for granted by many of us. For people with physical disabilities, however, such simple things can become major challenges. However, mechanised systems, machines that help people, can make a fundamental difference in people's lives. FAULHABER Drive Systems, maker of the best miniature drive systems out there, has many motors and accessories which can help with the mechanisation. The MedTech Lab at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil is working on innovative solutions to overcome these obstacles. Since 2015, the enhanced teams have been developing robust and reliable assistance systems to enable people to participate fully in everyday life again with the help of technology. FAULHABER has supported and sponsored the team's work for over 7 years. In the projects, an initial concept for an assistance system is developed based on a problem, which is then continuously improved and tested.
