Our productions have allowed in-person and virtual presenters/viewers to engage and interact through shared PowerPoint Presentations, video playback, graphics, multiple PTZ camera angles, Q&A sessions, live captioning, etc. Our elite team co-produced and edited a video celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment that was featured at the White House and helped elevate DOT video branding and reach. They have also produced a recruitment video for @Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to encourage college graduates to get involved in the movement to reduce motor vehicle crashes and fatalities. Our expert production crew ensures that DOT broadcasts are inclusive and accessible by incorporating live ASL picture-in-picture mixed effects during in-person and recorded events. #OnThisDay in history, the US Navy allowed Black women to join Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, or WAVES, to support World War II efforts. At that time, Congress and U.S. Navy leaders disagreed on whether women should be in the Naval Reserve or part of an auxiliary. President Roosevelt signed Public Law 689 establishing the Women’s Reserve as a branch of the Naval Reserve on July 30, 1942. Frances Wills and Harriet Ida Pickens were the Navy's first Black WAVES officers. They were sworn in by Lieutenant Rosamond D. Selle, USNR, in New York City. #Navy #WAVES #WWII #TBT

Dr. Mario José Molina Henríquez was a Mexican physical chemist. He played a pivotal role in the discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole and in 1995 received The Nobel Prize in Chemistry for discovering threats to the Earth's ozone layer. In 2008, Molina was named by then-President Barack Obama to form a transition team on environmental issues. Under Mr. Obama, he was a member of the United States President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. In 2020, Molina contributed to research regarding the importance of wearing face masks amid the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. Dr. Lauro Fred Cavazos Jr. made history as the first Latino to serve in a cabinet post and was the first Hispanic and graduate of Texas Tech University to serve as its president. As a medical professor, he consulted the World Health Organization on national and international health issues. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership in education by then-President Ronald Reagan. Dr. Cavazos was born on Jan. 4, 1927 and passed away at the age of 95 on March 15, 2022. Let's celebrate his legacy during #HispanicHeritageMonth2023 and acknowledge the progress made by Latinos. #ADVHHM23 #LatinoProgress
