Yes, quite an S-curve Jan. Tony Seba is the master of S curves. I highly recommend readers look him up at ReThinkX or in his various books. Let me explain why this happens using "Nelson's Rule" in Smart Climate Moves. 1) half of the effort is in recognizing a need (a problem like climate change for example); 2) half of the remaining effort is in committing to take action (to buy an EV in this case); 3) half of what remains in making a plan (finding a dealer, preparing financing, etc.); 4) the remaining effort lies in acting - the easy part - buying an EV - which you can do on-line - just 12.5%. It takes a long time to recognize a need and commit to acting. The planning and buying, in this case, can happen very quickly. Look out ICEs. #climateaction #smartclimatemoves

If the company decides to put on a new route to service the western regions, you can replace some of the lost sales from the northern routes with the new service. In the “do something” scenario, you can see that although not all the lost profitability has been recouped, the bus company is still viable.
