Are team reunions in sales worth it? Last week I was in London for our DACH SDR team meeting. And I think I have a love-hate relationship with these kinds of events. On the one hand, meeting in person can energise sales teams in ways that virtual meetings can't touch. Nothing beats face-to-face interaction for building trust and camaraderie. Setting common goals and talking about our individual and team values has been a huge motivational boost for all of us, which will definitely translate into amazing results in the future. On the other hand, I "lost" a few days on general SDR tasks such as account planning and prospecting, which I now have to catch up on. So was it worth it? Probably yes, because long-term motivation and drive beats short term accomplishments. What's your take on team reunions?

I help organizations create modern learning strategies for their people, partners, and customers | AE @ Docebo | 🎙Host of Sell By Being Human
When I was hired in 2020, in person sales conferences weren’t a thing. Which is why this week is so big for me. All week when asked how are you, my answer was always: I’m doing awesome! I’m looking forward to our annual Sales Kick Off where I’ll get to meet a lot of my teammates and partners in person. Some for the very first time. All week I’m gonna share what I’m learning from these few days. And maybe even what I didn’t expect to come away with. There’s just no substitute for bringing everyone in your revenue org together. Silos break down, friendships emerge, and ideas can flow quicker and more freely. Thank you Nick Thomas, Jordyn Tavares, Andrea Tucker, PhD, Kati Caropino, Caitlin Breivogel, Patrick Swiney, Richelle Westhafer Jennifer Quirk and everyone who had a hand in making this a reality. I’m ready! #sales #sko #docebo

Dear Sales Development Rockstars, the journey of an SDR is full of twists and turns, but each challenge is an opportunity for growth. To navigate the ups and downs, we must handle rejection, overcome challenges, stay motivated, build resilience, celebrate wins, find balance, and embrace the power of persistence. Rejection teaches us valuable lessons, challenges are opportunities in disguise, and resilience is our strength. When we succeed, we must celebrate, and remember that even small victories deserve recognition. Balancing work and life keeps us energized and focused, and persistence pays off in the end. Let's embrace the journey and reach new heights together! #SDRLife #SalesDevelopment 🚀💼🌟

TEXT ME: 214.436.6968 Sales Leader | Driving Revenue Growth | Building High-Performing Teams | Strategic Planning & Execution | Customer-Centric Approach | Passionate About Coaching & Mentoring
One of the cool thngs I’ve picked over the past year is I’ve learned the value of using overseas talent to do some Business Development. Over the past 6 months I have consulted with a few companies around building and establishing a BDR Team from overseas to generate leads. Have you even considered that? If so, I've found the ability for a company to reduce the cost of employee by 5x or more without effecting results. If you'd consider this I can help... Lets talk!

🎉 Huge shout out to Olivia Ang, our trailblazing mentor at Sales School! She is fiercely passionate about teaching and giving back to the tech sales community as felt by our students at Sales School. In less than a year Olivia moved from an SDR to a Partnership Manager and now most recently relocated to Australia to work remotely 🦘 Now, let's dive into Olivia's story: 💡 Why tech-sales? Flexible working arrangements, great earning potential, results-based recognition, and being able to tap into my innate skills ⭐ What is your north-star that helps you to show up everyday? Independence is something that’s extremely important to me. I remind myself that I am only limited by how much hard work I’m willing to put in. 🎯 What is your biggest tip you will leave behind for any existing sales reps out there? Lots of people are in tech sales for the money but ask yourself - how long could you keep up with the rigour if it wasn’t just for the remuneration? Are the skills required of a salesperson something that you genuinely enjoy utilising and honing? We wish her continued success in her role, and keep inspiring more people ❤️

🌟 Joining Peter Park as a SDR three months ago has been a transformational journey on multiple fronts. This role has not only expanded my skills in the sales department but has also fostered an environment where personal growth is valued and encouraged. 🚀 Unlike any of my previous experiences, I've found myself in a workspace that not only recognizes individual contributions but also prioritizes the continuous evolution of its team members. “Cold calling is like a roller coaster. It’s scary, thrilling, and sometimes makes you want to scream. But in the end, the adrenaline is worth it.” As a new SDR, you’ll experience the highs and lows of cold calling. The key is to embrace the ride. There will be rejections, awkward silences, and the occasional hang-up. But there will also be wins—those moments when you connect with a prospect and know you’ve nailed it. 🎢🚀 #SDRLife #ColdCalling #SalesWins #RollerCoasterRide #SalesHumor
