Are there any soil treatment products that smell like mint? We are doing a soil investigation at the site of a gasoline tanker rollover that took place about 10 months ago. Soils from 8 ft bgs smell distinctively of mint. Is it possible that something was applied to the spill area during the initial response that is the source of this odor? #SoilRemediation #spillresponse #spillcontrol

The product I was thinking of is called BioSolve. The SDS for BioSolve says it has a "mild, pleasant sassafras fragrance". 🤣

Now I’m intrigued. There’s a racing gasoline additive called Wild Willy that claims to make your exhaust smell of mint (according to Google). Could it be methanol?
