Most brand owners don't know to raise ad spending for the best conversions. It depends on: How high or low is your CPM? → Lower CPMs indicate more efficient spending. What's your target CPA? → If your CPA is consistently lower than your target, consider scaling. How high/low is your ATV? → Higher ATV can justify higher ad spend. How high/low is my CLTV? → Higher CLTV suggests more room to increase ad spending profitably. What's the price of your product? → Higher-priced products can bear higher ad costs. How much can you spend till the bottom? → Understand your break-even point before increasing ad spend. You want more with less investment but that's not the case with ad algorithms. Higher market sophistication requires more in-depth ad creative. Mature markets with high competition means you’re going to be shopped around & compared with alternatives. If your ads are too basic to arm would-be buyers against your competition’s positioning, you’ll lose more deals than you’d like. Long form ads are your friend. On the other hand, nascent markets benefit from sharp, tight messaging that lodges your value proposition in your prospect’s head. If there are few alternatives, there’s no need to beat a dead horse.
