Let the prototyping sprint begin. 20 Teams of software developers and start-ups received the GEA Challenge as a part of the DLG.prototype.club open innovation competition taking place at Anuga FoodTec in Köln from the 19-21 March 2024. I asked Christian Becker Product Manager Separation Dairy at GEA Group for his thoughts after he presented the challenge at the kick-off event last week. “We seek innovations to provide dairy plants with a holistic understanding of their water footprint and pinpoint stress areas and waste. By leveraging startup creativity and expertise, we aim to empower decision-makers to minimize freshwater usage and foster sustainable water management practices. We are excited to unveil our challenge to innovative start-ups. Let's see how we can move the dairy industry towards zero-water usage" During the DLG Open Innovation Showcase on Wednesday, March 20 from 14:05-15:40 at the Innovation Stage (Hall 5.2, C100/D119) visitors at Anuga FoodTec will be treated to the final pitches from the teams shortlisted by GEA. https://lnkd.in/egvGD3_q DLG.prototype.club is supporting GEA by using open innovation to bring big ideas to market faster and therefore solve some of the biggest challenges facing the industry.
