Through the application of science and engineering principles, aerospace has enabled humans to design and develop aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, rovers, landers, and a host of others. Early ideas and innovations in aerospace are credited to aerospace pioneers such as George Cayley, Jules Henri Giffard, Charles Renard, Arthur Constantin Krebs, Ferdinand von Zeppelin, the Wright Brothers, and a host of others. In 1799, George Cayley proposed an aircraft with a “fixed wing and a horizontal and vertical tail”. In 1852, Henri Giffard flew the first steerable steam-powered airship, and in December 1903, the Wright brothers performed the first sustained, controlled flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft, lasting 12 seconds. Since then a lot of aerospace inventions and innovations have been developed for the betterment of humanity. Various aerospace technologies developed have been applied for human use on the Earth. A4X Aerospace Objectives: • To disseminate aerospace ideas in such a way that it will be well understood by all and sundry • To equip space enthusiasts with the right tool that will help them to better understand the reasons why space exploration is being invested into • To prepare students for aerospace professional practices • To enable students to be able to solve complex problems • To develop aerospace practitioners' project management capability • To offer aerospace consultancy services to corporate organizations

Blended Wing Design Aims For Zero Emissons Flights. American aviation company JetZero is working with Northrop Grumman and Scaled Composites, LLC, of Virgin Galactic fame to create a Blended Wing Body Aircraft. Depending on the materials used, the BWB design, where lift is generated by the wings and the body, could reduce emissions by 20-50%, fuel consumption by 50% and reduce noise due to the placement of the engines at the above the fuselage. The plane will use SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and is ready for hydrogen fuel cells ushering in true zero emissions flights. JetZero has recently been awared a $237 million contract by the United States Air Force to develop a full scale technology demonstrator for a tanker by 2027. Tests of a 1:8 scale model are underway and research around the world continues to make this concept a reality. Proud to share this video from the Model Rocketry Workshop organized by IN-SPACe, the Astronautical Society Of India , and ISRO , held at CTI, Indian Air Force Station, Bengaluru. This rocket, designed and assembled under the expert guidance of Thrust Tech India Pvt. Ltd, stood approximately 1 meter tall and was powered by a solid propellant motor. It achieved a peak altitude of 100 meters, with a flawless ejection mechanism for payload deployment and precise telemetry tracking through the ground station. This successful launch not only demonstrated the principles of rocketry but also underscored the importance of teamwork and hands-on learning. A big thank you to the organizers and mentors for making this experience possible! #RocketLaunch #ModelRocketry #ISRO #Innovation #AerospaceEngineering
