It is designed to help stakeholders understand the sustainability impacts on asset value and guide investment decisions. 📈 "As we strive to become a more environmentally responsible organisation, joining the SRS will be as much a learning experience as it is a statement of our shared responsibility as a sector. We’re excited to see where the SRS will take us", writes Debbie Green, Group Chief Executive in the introduction to Coastal Housing Group's ESG Report 2023. Coastal Housing Group adopted the SRS in 2023 and the team are using it to report their progress on their first-ever sustainability strategy, published in 2022. The strategy, called ‘All Possible Action’, commits the housing association to measuring its carbon footprint, reducing waste, improving its environment, and reporting annually on a wide-ranging set of measures. It's great to see that Coastal Housing Group recognises the benefits of taking a whole-sector approach to measuring, reporting and enhancing ESG.
