Helping individuals reach their greatest potential

Skyfall High Dive Competition at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center! Amazing to see in person. So proud of our work together as a community and City Commission to improve the Aquatic Center. A few leadership thoughts from watching these athletes: 1. When you take big or little leaps in life know where you want to end up. The pool has water spraying onto the pool surface so that divers can know where they will end up. During their dive, divers reorient themselves with the surface throughout the dive. Know where you want to end up and keep an eye on it throughout your leap. 2. There were three lifeguards engaged for every dive: one in the pool who would immediately look down into the water once the diver landed in the pool to ensure the diver was okay and two lifeguards on the side of the pool. We all need lifeguards. Who are your lifeguards who help ensure your safety and good thinking during leaps? 3. Many divers ask the audience to count down 5…4…3…2…1 to their jump. Get your team participating and excited about your/the team’s leap. Even the greatest in the world need the team with them.
