❗ First of all, credit where credit is due! Many thanks to Jos Slangen and TenneT TSO B.V. for hosting our ENTSO-E WG AIM Physical Meeting in Arnhem last week. ❗ I was surprised that although the travel to Arnhem, NL is not the most direct one, we still had more than 18 members attending in person (plus 5-10 online). This means that more than 15 TSOs were part of our discussions. When I start to prepare an agenda for our physical meetings, I am always a bit unsure if there are enough topics to discuss, but who am I kidding, we are always rushed at the very end, as the amount of topics "somehow" still catches us off guard. 📢 Just to say a few: ◾ Supply chain issues and the impact of the EU Grid Action Plan ◾ Maintenance and reliability of grid components ◾ Lifespan of assets and ReLife of Réseau de Transport d'Électricité ◾ Robotics, automated inspections, CO2, SF6, vegetation management and more... Just two of these could be discussed all day and we only had one and a half days for the whole meeting... and all of them are of interest to SEPS - Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava and the rest of the European TSOs. #entsoe #transmission #electricity #assetmanagement #TSO

CLOCS Partner Update: TRL Motorcade to monitor fleet power sources The Government is funding several programmes to develop new vehicle technologies and fuel/energy supply chains. To provide independent monitoring and evaluation of these trials TRL has developed a tool – Motorcade - to systematically collect data from vehicle fleets which will reveal the performance of these technologies and their energy consumption. The data collected will support evidence-based policy decision-making and commercial strategic planning regarding the deployment of fleets employing new fuel types. Today we celebrate completing one month of the fascinating first official CA-TZ conference at Slovenia! Within this short period, the CA-TZ network of the compressed air wizards has already started engaging to exchange! The independent members who have joined this forum are from various geographical continents but speak a common language – compressed air energy efficiency! The members as individuals are brand agnostic and devoid of any specific compressed air equipment manufacturer. They bring to the table their expertise in supply side, distribution side, and demand side applications of industrial pneumatics. The technocrats share their knowledge in technology, business, finance, management, and anything that helps in achieving the larger goal of reducing carbon emissions caused by the inefficient source of energy, that is compressed air. While the seeds were sowed a few years ago, the preliminary meeting at Hannover, Germany in the last April gave an impetus to formalize the CA-TZ organization. Over the last one-month period, the members have started actively reaching out the forum for resources, references, and help, to learn from the ideas implemented in another region or country that suite their requirements in providing solutions to their customers. If you have expertise in the field of compressed air energy efficiency and are enthusiastic to share / exchange your ideas as an individual, then you are welcome to explore CA-TZ!
