We did it! With your help, the Unstoppable Care-avan drove 1 million miles, which can help provide 1 million meals* to kids — all without a single oil change. We’d call that mission accomplished. We can’t think of anything more worthy than Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign, a national campaign dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger in the United States. A challenge like that leaves no time to stop, and we’re proud to be able to help make progress possible through projects like our Unstoppable Care-avan. Learn more about our successful Unstoppable Care-avan journey and find out more ways you can support No Kid Hungry.

Right now, 1 in 9 Minnesotans are food insecure. 1 in 9 people – that’s nearly 500,000 Minnesotans who don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Solving hunger in Minnesota requires a two-part approach — directly connecting hungry Minnesotans with food resources to put food on the table today AND long-term advocacy, helping to find long-term solutions to hunger.

Just Safety means addressing the needs of a whole person – not just one issue in isolation. Communities have always known how to create safety for themselves – taking a meal to a grieving neighbor, doing yard work for the elderly woman next door, hosting block parties and carne asadas that bring everyone together. But these efforts are completely overlooked (and underfunded) in our current concept of safety. #JustCommunitiesArizona #JustSafety #SafetyNotPunishment

Ten years ago, URI embarked on a transformative journey with the launch of the People & Animals Living Safely (PALS) program. Dedicated to addressing the critical intersection of domestic violence and pets, PALS ensures that survivors can seek safety without leaving their beloved animals behind. Today, we're proud to acknowledge the invaluable support of our partners, including NYC Council Member Farah Louis (District 45), whose unwavering commitment has propelled legislative efforts in NYC to remove barriers to safety and healing for domestic violence survivors. URI expresses heartfelt gratitude for this support, and we're eager to continue our collaborative efforts in securing legislative and regulatory backing. Together, we can empower more individuals and families in crisis to stay and heal alongside their cherished pets. Learn more and join us in celebrating a decade of PALS honoring the human-animal bonda decade of honoring about our mission and impact: bit.ly/3ZStpjd #StayTogetherHealTogether #ProtectPetsToo #PawPrint4Change #PALSYear10 #PALS10Years #PALSAnniversary10

The reality is too many shelters still don't operate with humane, effective programs like Trap-Neuter-Return (#TNR). Without TNR, community cats risk extended stays in shelters rather than being returned to their outdoor homes--and are often killed because they are not adoptable. By helping communities and shelters rewrite ordinances and protocols to prioritize TNR, we change the system and save lives: https://ow.ly/BloY50R2wF6
