Funded by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Manufacturing Technology Office (OSD(R&E)) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), this project is a testament to the collaborative spirit driving the future of additive manufacturing. A team including Sentient Science has been assembled by RTX (Raytheon Technology Research Center) and awarded an America Makes project entitled "Model Enabled Delta-Qual (MEDAL-QUAL) (Topic 1, Project 2). The overall program goal is to advance #additivemanufacturing by providing a framework that others in industry can use to successfully delta-qual machines of different makes/models and bring certified #aerospace components to market in a far more flexible environment compared to the current status quo.
