AI has the power to truly transform our whole world. However, for it to develop to its full potential, a true inflection point is needed. We need a new type of chip design powered by different software algorithms to decrease the energy consumption and costs that thus far have massively limited the effectiveness of advancements seen thus across so many edge devices (robots, drones, cars etc). Rain AI will be the company that causes and creates this inflection point and the world as we know it today will be forever changed because their future non-edge products will redefine the very essence of AI and will accelerate the eventual merging of humans with AI that seems implausible today 🚀

LG Electronics' AI autonomous robot showcased its impressive technology through collaboration with POSCO🤖 From November 13th, LG Electronics conducted a two-day AI autonomous robot demonstration project at the POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks. The AI autonomous robot performed unmanned facility management tasks in the underground electrical room of POSCO's Gwangyang Steelworks No.4 Hot Rolling Plant, displaying its technical prowess. The LG Electronics AI autonomous robot is equipped with cameras and LiDAR sensors. These LiDAR sensors emit light to detect targets, distance, and direction, and measure the time it takes for the light to return. The robot uses this information to accurately perceive its surroundings🔎 Furthermore, using thermal imaging cameras, it can detect abnormal temperatures in various facilities in the electrical room, thereby sending alarms and captured images to the control room. The robot's movement can be monitored and remotely controlled by control room staff, ensuring stable operation in special environments. Additionally, the AI autonomous robot is designed modularly, allowing it to switch between various tasks like patrolling and delivery according to client needs.
