December 15th is Cowan Mental Health Day, an event we established last year and this year we brought back our friend, Dennis Gillan, for an update video presentation on Risk Factors and Red Flags to look for in not only yourself, but those closest to you as well as we head into the holiday season. As Dennis shared with us last year, the trucking and logistics industries have some of the highest rates of mental health issues (stress, depression, anxiety, suicide, etc.) and as Dennis would say, “We can do better!” Dennis is a World Class Speaker and Mental Health Advocate, who has presented to hundreds of companies, universities, and organizations across the country about a topic that is so critically important… Suicide Awareness & Prevention.
