Highly recommended to all young legal professionals with access. I use it as and when I can. #law
This month we celebrated our 199th birthday! 🎉 Here's a photo of our magnificent library taken in 1904, compared to today! 📚 We’re here to support solicitors at every stage of their career, from qualification through to retirement, and to advocate on the issues they've told us matter most, including the rule of law and access to justice. ⚖️ From October, we’ll come together with solicitors across England and Wales for a year-long celebration of the Law Society’s bicentenary – 200 years of supporting solicitors. ✨ Keep an eye out for updates on how we'll be marking our bicentennial year!

Wow, can’t believe it’s already been 6 months! 🤩 Here are a few things I've picked up during this exciting journey: 1. Embracing Change: Transitioning between different team dynamics, e-commerce to bricks & mortar marketing, a well-established business vs a startup like Bloc Skincare, has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. 2. Marketing Foundations Matter: It’s been so fun to introduce the team to core marketing principles. Simple campaigns, emails, automation, and brand presence make a huge difference, even if they seem like a no-brainer to marketing brains. 3. Slowing Down (Kind Of): I like moving fast, but sometimes this isn’t always an option, especially with TGA & AHPRA requirements. Big shoutout to Ashley Freeman for being the brains behind navigating these waters and teaching me along the way! 4. Back to the Skin Industry: I’m thrilled to be back in the skin industry, connecting with top experts and reigniting my passion on a whole new level. Grateful for Dr Andrew Freeman, not just as a boss, but as a mentor, leader, and friend. 5. Valuing Open Conversations: Having a safe space for open discussions, sharing perspectives, and being heard, even when views differ, is truly priceless. 6. Proving Doubters Wrong: When someone suggested our website’s Shop space wouldn’t succeed due to market saturation, we doubled our YoY revenue in under 6 months. Challenge accepted and conquered! 7. Lean On Your Resources: It's perfectly okay to ask for help. Most people are not only willing but happy to lend a hand. I'm so incredibly grateful for the amazing people I've met in my marketing lifetime who who continue to support me. Feeling grateful for these experiences and looking forward to what’s next! 🚀

Meet Isanna Saxon, Property Management Administrator for NHS Brooklyn CDC, Inc. She has nine+ years of experience in business management and customer service. For the past two and and a half years she's been working in property management managing single family and 2-to-4-unit homes. NHS of Brooklyn has given her the opportunity to merge her love for helping others with her professional aspirations. Isanna strongly believes that a person's growth and accomplishments are rooted in those we help, and that is transcends through individual character and professionalism. Property management is close to Isanna's heart because it assists small homeowners in managing their investments and more importantly preserve generational wealth, especially for people of color. When she looks at Property Management holistically, obtaining my Accredited Residential Manager certification (ARM®) from Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) felt like the natural next step in my journey. This certification solidifies to her clients that she has the knowledge and professional expertise to manage their investments which builds a trusting relationship. Isanna said, "During the month of February, we celebrate Black History Month, highlighting how far we have progressed as black people. I believe that we should always celebrate ourselves and the journey of our lives. However, to get this opportunity to highlight us as black people is even more special. Our history gets to new ears and for us to remember our forefather and ancestors background as they have laid the foundation for us to be strong, have zeal to overcome the struggles we face daily, love and care for each other, etc. This is why diversity, equity, and inclusion is so important, especially in the workplace. Here at NHS, we provide an environment to make people feel welcome, comfortable, and valued and is refelcted through our diverse workforce that includes different races, ethnicity, and cultures." #diversity #equity #inclusion #DEI #blackhistorymonth #propertymanagement #affordablehousing
