If you're dining out, do your best to practice portion control with your meals. Here is a quick way to do that. Your protein portion should be the size of your palm. Carb portion should be the size of your fist. Fat portion should be the size of your thumb. Next time you eat out while on the road for work, try this out and let me know what differences you see.

The intrinsic essence of a kitchen is to bring the family together. Some families, everyone comes together at once to put some effort in the cooking, while some families, everyone takes turn to monitor the progress of the cooking. One way or the other, the kitchen is a natural place of belonging. This brings me to some point that families who eat together on the dining table are only being PERFORMATIVE, because the thing is NOT everyone might be hungry at the same time. But everyone wants to have it in mind that cooking is done, everyone wants to ensure that food is not unavailable, everyone wants to ensure they have done their part in bringing food to the ‘table’. What point am I driving at? Kindly check the comment section to see the point👇🏿

Ever wondered how to subtly signal your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a meal without saying a word? Look no further! 🍽️ The position of your knife and fork on your plate can speak volumes. Here's a quick guide: * Still eating: Knife and fork diagonally across the plate, with the fork resting on the left side. * Next dish: Knife and fork crossed diagonally on the plate, with the fork resting on the right side. * It was delicious: Knife and fork resting parallel on the plate, with the fork resting on the right side. * I have finished: Knife and fork resting parallel on the plate, with the fork resting on the left side. * I didn't like it: Knife and fork resting crossed diagonally on the plate, with the fork resting on the left side.
