Alpro is proud to be part of the "Ēstprieks" ("Joy of Eating") charity campaign in Latvia, organized by Bērnu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca (Latvia’s Children's Clinical University Hospital) in collaboration with Maxima Latvija, recognized by the The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Latvia. ''Promoting healthy eating is vital for everyone, particularly for children, as it lays the groundwork for lifelong healthy habits. In Latvia, hospital food has historically faced criticism from young patients, but the "Joy of Eating" initiative has been making significant strides over the past four years. We are thrilled to have played a role in this transformation, increasing children’s preference for hospital meals!'' says Agnete Līcīte-Lasmane, Head of Alpro in Nordics & Baltics. We are delighted to join the Advancing Women for Resilient Agricultural Supply Chains (AWRAS) initiative! 🌱    By joining this new public-private partnership, we are going the next mile in our Danone Impact Journey, expanding the work we have started with smallholder farmers, notably in Africa, to build a local dairy supply chain.     Together with USAID, PepsiCo, Unilever, McCormick & Company, and Nestlé Nespresso SA, we’re investing $50M to empower women in agriculture! Runners from around the world powered up with healthy snacks provided by YoPRO for this year’s Sydney Marathon on September 15! As part of an exciting partnership with Sydney Marathon, the Danone Oceania team looked after runners in the recovery village on event day - as well as providing high-quality, high-protein, no added sugar snacks for members of the rapidly growing Sydney Marathon Run Clubs. We even had a few local Danoners joining #TeamYoPRO on the course, which passed through some of the city’s most spectacular landmarks, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
