Fringe was wonderfully represented at the 13th Annual GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Awards! It is a great pleasure to support and celebrate the 50 exceptional companies recognized for demonstrating high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes. In fact, from 2019 to 2022, these companies generated close to 2 billion dollars in revenue and created more than 870 jobs. The belief that "we grow together" is not just a saying but a reality among these dynamic second-stage growth companies. As there are many great things happening (events, upcoming mentoring programs, award nominations, etc.) happening in Illinois' entrepreneurial ecosystem this month and beyond, the attached updates I compiled include those amazing resources, programs, tools, etc.

Today was Day 2 of the Leeds Beckett University Business School Conference; and for the final session of the day we heard from Natalie Allen and Jo Griffiths all about Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. What is it ❓ A Government-funded programme helping businesses develop and gain a competitive advantage with the expertise of UK universities. How does it work ❓ Each KTP creates a unique partnership between a business and a university to deliver positive impact and drive innovation. Every project is tailor-made for your business. Who funds it ❓ The programme, funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through Innovate UK KTN has been running for over 45 years. During that time, it has enabled more than 14,000 businesses to drive innovation for positive impact. What else does it offer ❓ The KTP programme is complemented by the Management KTP Programme (mKTP), focused on helping businesses build resilience, adaptability and growth by changing culture or expanding management capability. Module 3 completed this week at Exeter University business school for the #helptogrow course.
