Today we celebrate America’s Constitution, the framework of our country that attributes rights and freedoms to our society – the Bill of Rights. Bill of Rights Day commemorates the ratification of the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, which protects and consists of America’s most basic human rights, such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, the right to protest, and equal protection under the law. Did you know? The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects our fundamental rights to freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition. Let’s take a moment to appreciate these freedoms that allow us to: 1. Speak our minds without fear of censorship. 2. Access diverse news sources and stay informed. 3. Practice any religion or none at all, respecting individual beliefs. 4. Peacefully assemble to support causes dear to our hearts. 5. Petition the government for change and justice. Remember, freedom of speech means freedom to express ourselves in many ways, including flying flags from another country, sharing our cultural heritage, and standing up for what we believe in. These rights aren’t just words on paper; they empower us to be active citizens and shape our communities. Let’s cherish and protect these liberties for ourselves and future generations. #FirstAmendment #FreedomOfSpeech #FreedomToExpress #RightsAndLiberties #unitedwestand

Read. Share. Advocate. Again. I must ask the question, Spotlight Initiative. Why do you partner with certain celebrity advocates that are quick to support the innocents of one side -and rightfully so, yet fail to support the innocents of the other side? How can you claim the following, "We are the world’s largest targeted effort to end all forms of violence against women and girls" ? "UN Women estimates that the eruption of #violence and destruction has already resulted in close to 493,000 #women and #girls being displaced from their homes in #Gaza. Additionally, the violence has tragically resulted in a growing number of widows, as an estimated 900 women have become the heads of households following their male partner’s death." (20 Oct.) Are we not all human beings, born free and #equal in #dignity and #rights? Will you partner with people that subjectively value human rights? Are we not all deserving of compassion? Do you stand #withher? #ceasefirenow #standup4humanrights #dignity #freedom #justice for #ALL. United Nations

The human history is the history of how "human" is defined in Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It has expanded from aristocrats to ordinary men to women, to people with disabilities and ethnic minorities, and to people of different cultures and gender identities. In the near future, this "human" clause will be extended to "living creature," including animal rights. This is because all life on Earth has rights, not just humans. From the perspective of current public policy and public administration, I believe that the term "global public policy" will soon face a paradigm shift. Human communities have also expanded in size and scope throughout history. Village chiefs grew into feudal lords, and then into nations. National policies have expanded in scope to become "international" policies, and now "global" public policies. But the era of global will soon expand to the era of "space". There will come a time when we will no longer be able to plan policies based solely on the survival of the Earth. Although I work in the field of international development cooperation, this is 'the' concept that has expanded in scope and will expand further. Social welfare policies that support the poor within a country have expanded to include support policies between home and colonial countries. After World Wars, it was maintained as a way for the countries that started the war to support or compensate the damages in war-torn countries, and during the Cold War, it was maintained as a way to widen each camp. Today, international development cooperation has been defined as supporting developing countries for economic and diplomatic purposes to secure 'national interests'. However, the time will come when we will have to look beyond national interests and consider the interests of the Earth. In addition, in the near future, when the Earth is unsustainable, humans may embark on a space version of Columbus's colonisation of Mars, as a name of Space Development Cooperation. So far, this is a fictional scenario, but human history has and will continue to follow similar cycles. The powerful will continue to seek to maintain their power, while the powerless will band together to resist and respond. Personally, I believe that post-SDGs should no longer be limited to the planet. We need to look forward and design a big picture of our scope of awareness. In my lifetime, 'Humans' will establish the 'Space Sustainable Development Goals' on a planetary basis and design 'Space Public Policies' at the Earth level to implement them. I look forward to a future where the Space Development Cooperation Agency will carry out interplanet development projects such as ecosystem conservation programmes on the Moon and air quality improvement programmes on Mars. When if it turns out to be another neo-colonialism, I will strongly criticise it with all my heart.

Without justice, peace cannot be achieved in the world. 🌎 When #injustice prevails, #resistance becomes a duty. That is why there are numerous resistance movements in different countries around the world. Where did things go wrong? 🤔 The peace protectors and defenders of international law, such as the #ICJ and #UNSC, have become irrelevant. Since 2023/24 The world has lost trust in these organizations and countries that used to preach about human rights, international laws, and #democracy. Sometimes, they act in complete contradiction to what they have been advocating for. We need these organizations to take action and bring justice to the world. If they cannot do so, they should be #shut down. #justice #peace #humanrights
