Today we are thrilled to announce that Digimarc Recycle is now widely available and easily accessible to recycling ecosystem partners around the world. To accelerate the global fight against plastic pollution, our proven technology can now be licensed by qualified partners for less than $1 per capita per year. “After another year plagued with a lot of talk but little action in the fight to end plastic pollution, we are expanding our reach across stakeholders and geographies to encourage partners in the United States and around the world to join us on our mission to protect the planet,” said Digimarc President and CEO, Riley McCormack. One of the main reasons the world struggles to recycle plastic is due to the number of plastic variants that are created by industry and the limits of the optical sorting technology that exists at recycling facilities. Digimarc Recycle changes this dynamic by applying covert digital watermarks to identify plastic packaging deterministically to any desired level of granularity - for example, determining if plastic is food-grade - to create the variety, volume, and quality of recycled plastics needed for a viable circular economy to flourish. Digimarc Recycle is a powerful, proven, and incredibly affordable solution to the plastic pollution crisis, and it is available today. 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? Plastic has become an integral part of our daily lives due to its convenience and versatility. However, this massive production of plastic comes with severe environmental consequences. Plastic waste poses a significant threat to our ecosystems, pollutes our oceans, and contributes to climate change. As part of the Beauparc Group, our sustainability goals and procedures allows us to recycle as much as we can. Here, plastics are baled and reprocessed to create plastic pellets. These pellets are then used to create new plastic products. 🥤 Recycling plastic is one crucial step in mitigating the harmful effects of plastic waste. By recycling, we divert plastic from landfills, conserve resources, and reduce the energy and emissions associated with the production of new plastic. 🔄♻️ www.awm.uk.com | 0845 4567 128 | sales@awm.uk.com #PlasticAwareness #SustainableLiving #RecyclePlastic #PlasticFree #EnvironmentalImpact #GoGreen #ReduceReuseRecycle #PlasticPollution

🔁 Reuse systems are a hot topic for policymakers in Europe right now. Consumers say they are ready. The food industry … not so much. The prevention and reduction of plastic is the first line of defense to eliminate waste and curb plastic pollution. Beyond preventing plastic use, a new study by Zero Waste Europe shows that the widespread uptake of #ReusablePackaging has the highest potential to reduce plastic production. Not only does TOMRA believe in the principles of the waste hierarchy, but we also further support the food industry, brands and governments to initiate a shift from single-use plastics to #reuse. Creating a framework that reduces our reliance on ‘virgin’ fossil-based plastic is at the heart of circularity – and a necessary step towards meeting climate goals. Did you know that over 12 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year? This number is on the rise. It is estimated that by 2030, uncollected plastic waste could reach 730 million metric tons! This is one of the reasons why plastic pollution is one of the greatest threats facing our oceans today. As we celebrate #WorldOceanDay today at Acer, we echo our commitment to creating innovative technology while championing a sustainable future. To further address the plastic waste issue, we have set a clear goal of achieving 20-30% total post-consumer recycled plastic usage by 2025. Through our partnership with @ plasticbank, we are starting small by jointly stopping plastic pollution and ending poverty in collection communities along the coast. Additionally, we use recycled ocean-bound plastic (OBP) and convert it into recyclable materials. Starting from 2021, ocean-bound plastics have been utilized in Acer notebook products to make Ocean Glass touchpads, which are currently used in the Chrome, Swift, Aspire Vero, TravelMate P2, and other product series. We invite you to join us in our mission to protect our planet. By choosing sustainable products and joining conservation initiatives, you can contribute to a cleaner, healthier ocean. Together, let's forge a future where technology helps the ocean. Happy World Ocean Day! To learn more about our sustainability efforts, visit our ESG page [insert link: https://acer.link/459dzU4 ]. This #WorldEnvironmentDay, we reflect on the vast challenge of tackling plastic pollution and scaling a circular economy. The impact of plastic waste is monumental, but so is our potential to make a difference. 📈 Plastic consumption has increased 4x in the last 30 years, much faster than recycling capacity. 9% is recycled, while 69% is incinerated or landfilled, and 22% is mismanaged (OECD-OCDE). ♻ Transitioning to a circular economy for plastics could reduce plastic waste in the ocean by 80% by 2040. It could also prevent 500 million tonnes of emissions annually, saving over US$4.5 trillion in environmental and social costs up to 2040 (UN Environment Programme). 💰 According to a recent McKinsey & Company study, achieving 20% recycled content for plastic packaging by 2030 globally could require as much as $100 billion cumulatively across collection, sorting, and recycling solutions. At Circulate Capital, we remain dedicated to advancing these solutions, investing in impactful initiatives that will reduce plastic pollution and advance a circular economy in high-growth markets. #CircularEconomy #PlasticPollution #Sustainability

🌏 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 - 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝘃𝘀. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 | This year, Earth Day's theme, "Planet vs. Plastics," calls on all stakeholders—individuals, businesses, and governments—to unite in combating plastic pollution and protecting our health. This movement demands a 𝟲𝟬% 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in plastic production by 2040 and the elimination of 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲-𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 by 2030. With our circular and sustainable waterproofing products made from 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗩𝗕, we are committed to preventing global plastic waste. Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) is a type of plastic used as a safety film in laminated glass, such as car windows. While the glass can be recycled, the PVB film poses a challenge as an undetermined waste stream. Our products are designed to be dismantled and reused as raw materials for the production of new building materials at the end of their lifespan. This eliminates the need for new primary resources and closes the loop once again. 🔁 ♻ #worldearthday #earthday #protectourplanet #circularity
