"I have to change to stay the same." - Willem De Kooning Last night I was walking by a sports bar that was hopping. Not because of the games that were on, but because it was trivia night.  You could hear the host on the microphone with answers and winners. It took me back 25 years. The summer I moved to Denver a neighbor took me to trivia night at Govnr's Park Tavern. I loved trivia night and I LOVED Govnr's Park. That is where I met my wife. That is where I spend most of my time at a bar in 1999 through 2001. Govnr's Park was always packed. For games. For happy hours. For trivia night. But over time, things change. The neighborhood changes. A new bar opens up with better TVs or a better location. People move, or move on. Hearing trivia last night took me back 25 years to some great memories, but it also reinforced the fact that markets are always changing. Whether it is the market for trivia nights or sports bars, or a specific B2B software market. You have to change to stay the same. You have to be aware and anticipate changes in the market. A new competitor. Evolving and changing priorities on problems to solve. New technology making your solution irrelevant. This is a critical responsibility in product management. We are the eyes and ears for our company in the market. We need to be change agents in our organization, helping everyone understand the need to change, and what changes we are seeing and anticipating in the market. Yes, I see product management in everything. Even trivia night at a sports bar. Oh BTW, when we moved back to Denver a couple of years ago, we lived near the old Govnr's Park. It was gone. I missed it. But in reality I was no longer in the market for that type of bar. The restaurant that replaced it, became one of our favorites. Our needs and value profiles were different in our 50s than they were in our late 20s. We changed. What an incredible year it's been for amp sound branding Landor! It's a real pleasure to be on this exhilarating journey with you all! 2024 promises to be even more exciting. Here are some of the sonic trends we are expecting: -The meteoric rise in demand for scalable, on-brand music and voice. We have the only AI based, generative music platform on the market, creating ownable, branded music in an instant. -Increase in highly personalised user experiences, which include instantly customised music, tailor made to the users preferences and languages. We have pioneered this with some of brands this year, but expect a boom in the next year(s). It's not enough anymore to simply cut through the noise, you also need to match the mood to the moment, the tone to the receiver's personality, and say it in the right language.... -UX/UI and brand voice will become more and more important. The next frontier in sonic branding and something we at amp sound branding Landor have been spending considerable time on in 2023. What are some of your sonic predictions for 2024?

Reflecting on these past few months @ RapTV 2 words come to mind… Challenging & Electrifying 💪 ⚡ It’s not my first rodeo but getting back in an early stage saddle has been quite the adjustment.. a journey of personal and professional growth. From day one, I've been blown away by every team member's sheer passion and dedication. We’re creating a culture that celebrates creativity, innovation, obsession over audience, and truth-seeking behavior. It was certainly an adjustment getting used to true, direct communication and feedback (à la One Minute Manager) and transitioning back to a builder mentality of problem-solving with limited resources. During the interview process I was told this position would be like parachuting in with no reinforcements and at times it has felt that way. But like Steve Rogers, I’d gladly jump with no chute for this cause. Our network of 45m+ is becoming the home for next-gen superfans in music & culture. While we’re a juggernaut on the B2C side with our social audiences we’re still establishing ourselves as a premium publisher in the B2B ad marketplace and educating the importance of social-first initiatives to engage this audience. I’m excited for the future. We’ll continue to obsess over our audience, always putting them first, and shaping the future of social-first entertainment. 🚀 #CompanyCulture #Innovation #FutureOfMedia #TeamSpirit
