𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 has urged the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐄𝐔) to prioritize stable policies and robust support for green energy and a circular economy. In their latest position paper, the Port emphasized the necessity of positioning ports strategically to ensure 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞's future sustainability. Against the backdrop of balancing the transition to a sustainable economy with maintaining prosperity, initiatives like Fit for 55 and REPowerEU aim to address these challenges. 📢 #Norwegian companies; Are you aware of the upcoming deadlines for Pilot projects: From idea to market? The purpose is to get new and #innovative solutions into use more quickly. They are multi-partnership projects with heavy involvement of companies, research environment and end-users. "Transportation poses the greatest climate challenge in Europe.” An insightful day at the Energy in Transport Forum hosted Energy Ireland Key Takeaways: Collaboration is essential: Ireland and Europe aim for sustainable transport targets, requiring a unified roadmap from stakeholders in the green ecosystem. Policy drives change: Existing policies across various green energy solutions can catalyze transformation. Government leadership: Governments play a pivotal role in greening our transport infrastructure. Private sector innovation: Private innovation remains instrumental in greening our transport systems. Urgency in scalability: Making sustainable vehicles more affordable is imperative. Immediate action needed: While progress has been made, urgent steps are necessary for greener transportation. Conclusion: Achieving a greener transport system, both locally and continent-wide, is feasible but demands concerted efforts. #energyireland #energyintransport #renewableenergy
