🌟 Last week, Albina Khaoutieva and Sophie O'Riordan from Enterprise Ireland Benelux attended the inaugural edition of DigitalX in #Brussels. 🤝 This conference served as an excellent platform for networking with the Belgian Data Centre and Digital Infrastructure industry. 🚀 The panel sessions, which focused on #AI, #energy, and #sustainability, offered a deep dive into the emerging trends and technologies in high-tech construction that are set to shape the future. These sessions provided valuable market insights. 📈 #Belgium, with a Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) of 17, is a thriving hub for data centres, hosting 46 of them currently. This number is consistently growing, showcasing the robust expansion of Belgium’s data centre ecosystem. 🏗 This growth is fueled by Belgium’s strategic location in the middle of the #FLAP data centre market, and its commitment to digital innovation. #Irish companies are already making their mark here, with major new data centre builds underway. Notably, EI client companies LPI Group and Reddy Architecture + Urbanism were among the attendees at DigitalX. 🙏 We extend our gratitude to the BDIA (Belgian Digital Infrastructure Association), Carole Santens, and everyone involved in making DigitalX a success. 🎉 We are delighted to announce that Enterprise Ireland client company patientMpower have partnered with Netherland's Erasmus MC European Centre for Excellence for Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and Sarcoidosis as a technology partner for digital care of the complex lung disease ILD. 🎇 🤝 The agreement will see patientMpower providing technology to enable a new digitally-enabled care pathway for patients with ILD being managed by the Rotterdam-based Centre of Excellence, along with ten further Dutch clinical sites. 👨⚕️ The programme is expected to generate robust evidence on the health and economic outcomes of a digital approach to ILD care, which will form the basis of a reimbursement application for the digital health technology for pulmonary diseases in the Netherlands.
