Becca and I stopped by the local drive-in and got a root beer float the other day. I always take home some root beer by itself when we go. You can see the product in this video. B & K Root Beer Stand is one of those old school drive-in, eat in your car type places from the 50’s and 60’s. When your product and your brand are so good and so old, You can sell your it in clear plastic milk jugs, And people still know what it is. B&K has been in business for 85 years. This is an amazing accomplishment for ANY businesss. Average age of a Fortune 500 company? 15 years. That’s an amazing figure to me. That means there are things I can learn from a business like B&K that I can’t learn from one of the big companies. IMHO, the first place to start is the product. It’s the best root beer I’ve ever tasted, and that fact has kept me coming back my entire life. Literally. When Becca and I bought this house, one of the deciding factors was its proximity to our B&K Rootbeer Stand. No joke. It wasn’t the most important thing, but it was a deciding factor. It’s a e-bicycle ride away now! I can’t believe my good fortune. #StayinAliveWithRootbeer 🫚🍺 Music by: The Bee Gee’s, “Stayin’ Alive”

CEO, Fuzzie - Voted Singapore's #1 Corporate Welfare Club | We help leading companies revolutionise employee well-being | Bringing cheers to over 100,000 employees & counting
Great example of how our Fuzzie Concierge is revolutionising employee engagement- the little things add up! The traditional ways of doing such events are a sure recipe for staff burn out. Typically, companies get their committee members or HR to organise. Might seem straightforward, but imagine the amount of time they need to spend to discuss, conceptualise, negotiate with vendors, settle the procurements...all over and above their day jobs. There were multiple Fuzzie vendors involved. To create this experience, we had to be creative with the vendors to stretch the dollar so we can pack in more value. For example, instead of the usual tea break catering, we brought our client to our partner, Cafe Q (awesome food), and negotiated a menu with a special pricing. We then created a pre-ordering system and our team on the ground coordinated with the cafe to ensure the food is made fresh with minimal waiting time after they're done with their games. Convenience was a key factor for us, and we chose the experiences from start to finish in such way that it's just a breeze for them to enjoy without having to move about from one point to another too much. To create the buzz, we designed the EDMs-super easy for the HR to blast out. Time for Fuzzie team to plan and execute: 2 weeks Time client spent: One phone call and proposal approval And the best part? As part of the Fuzzie experience, client doesn't need to pay any event organiser fee! It's a free concierge bundled with their Fuzzie membership. It's the smart way, focus on the strategy and let a seasoned team create the magic. This will remove staff burn-out and make such events more enjoyable for all without burning a hole in the pocket.
We had the pleasure of organising SaladStop!'s team-building day: The Escape Challenge. A fun-filled day starting with cute bear snacks from Paris Baguette to break the ice. Teams then get transported to Harbourfront Centre, where they battle it out in Escape Rooms, racing against time to solve the mystery. We wrap up on a warm & fuzzy note with delicious treats from our Fuzzie partner, the floral fantasy Cafe Q, as we share the fun memories of the trip. All the vendors are Fuzzie partners, allowing us to generate awesome savings for our client, stretching their dollar by 178%!
