⭐ The Mercedes-Benz G-Class EQ gathers a 2019 five-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the 2019 safety protocols on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class EQ. It is a variant to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Some additional tests and checks have been done to ensure that the rating of the G-Class, tested in 2019, applies to the electric variant.🚨 The passenger compartment of the G-Class remained stable in the frontal offset test. Mercedes-Benz showed that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. In both the side barrier test and the side pole impact, protection of a l critical body areas was good and the G-Class scored maximum points. Tests on the front seats and head restraints demonstrated good protection against whiplash injury in the event of a rear-end co lision. ⭐ The Renault Rafale obtains a 2022 five-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the 2022 safety protocols on the Renault Rafale. It is a partner model to the Renault Austral. Euro NCAP compared both vehicles to verify that the Austral results can be applied to the Rafale and performed additional tests, where necessary. 🚨 The passenger compartment of the Rafale remained stable in the frontal offset test. Analysis of the driver's side dashboard after the test revealed some areas which could be more injurious to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. Protection of the driver’s chest was rated as marginal, based on dummy readings of compression. Euro NCAP compared both vehicles to verify that the Austral results can be applied to the Espace and performed additional tests, where necessary. 🚨 The passenger compartment of the Espace remained stable in the frontal offset test. Dummy numbers showed good protection of the knees and femurs of both the driver and passenger. Analysis of the driver's side dashboard after the test revealed some areas which could be more injurious to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. Protection of the driver’s chest was rated as weak, based on dummy readings of compression. Euro NCAP compared both vehicles to verify that the X1 results can be applied to the X2 and performed additional tests, where necessary. 🚨 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the X2 can respond to vulnerable road users, as well as to other vehicles. The system performed well in tests of its response to pedestrians and cyclists, with collisions avoided in most scenarios. The X2 has a counter-measure to mitigate against occupant to occupant injuries in such impacts. ⭐ The Suzuki Swift sweeps off a three-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the latest safety protocols on the Japanese Suzuki Swift. 🚨 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the Suzuki can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles. However, The Swift has no child presence detection system. All of the child restraint types for which the Swift is designed could be properly installed and accommodated in the car. Dacia demonstrated that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. The driver’s chest protection was rated as weak, based on dummy readings of compression during the test. The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the Dacia can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles. ⭐ The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is high-class with its five-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the latest safety protocols on the German Mercedes-Benz E-Class.🚨 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the Mercedes-Benz can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles and the system’s response to pedestrians was good. Likewise, the system performed well in tests of its response to cyclists, scoring almost full points, including for ‘dooring,' where a door is suddenly opened in the path of a cyclist approaching from behind.
