GAIL (India) Limited has been presented ‘Breakthrough Renewable Energy Project of the Year’ Award at the Downstream India Excellence Awards 2024 ceremony, held during the Global Refining & Petrochemicals Congress 2024 on June 27, 2024, in New Delhi. The award was received by Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL accompanied by Shri D S Divekar, CGM (O&M), GAIL. The award was presented for GAIL’s first Green Hydrogen Plant set up at GAIL Vijaipur, Madhya Pradesh which has a capacity of producing 4.3 TPD of Hydrogen, through 10MW PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) Electrolyzer units, by electrolysis of water using renewable power.
