Three times today I’ve given my career in the food industry some serious thought. 💡 The first time was when I was talking to someone about what sectors I specialise in explaining that I started off in food recruitment but as clients asked me to recruit in non food, I migrated with them. It’s not that I don’t do food recruitment, I absolutely do, I just work with really nice clients regardless of sector. 😊 The second was when I was chatting to someone I worked with many moons ago who I’ve not spoken to in YEARS. We worked together as Commercial Managers. And it was so lovely to reminisce and catch up on who we kept in touch with, discuss companies, products, brands as well as life outside of work. And it was also lovely to see how their career has rocketed but they’re still a nice down to earth person. 🚀 The third time was when I looked at the concoction I’d thrown together on my plate for lunch. With a few minutes between meetings, Tzatziki on toasted sourdough with a cold sausage. Wtf? It was not good but I’ve also eaten worse. 🤢 So if any doubt…… ⭐️I recruit in the food industry AND in the non food industries. ⭐️ I love helping SME’s build teams, identify talent and help map out processes for recruitment. ⭐️ I will try to be more organised tomorrow with my lunch choices. #recruitment #foodindustry #winhurstrecruitment
