These days, I had a talk with the CEO/Founder and Director of several HR tech companies in Vietnam. Below is what I learned. 1. The number of jobs is still at almost a historical low in the last few years. Some say kinda hit the bottom already but others say not yet... 2. Some say the number of people looking for jobs keeps increasing but others say not much... 3. The biggest impact for fewer jobs and more job seekers is in the Tech space as most startups stop hiring. The impact on the FMCG space is relatively mild. 4. Many people are conservative now and stick with their current job and company and do not look for new jobs to take risks for higher salaries compared to the last few years when people changed jobs frequently...
