When Coca-Cola converted the whole world into an ad! #GoodAdsMatter You’ve probably seen those quirky Coca-Cola logos outside local shops and mini-markets that aren’t quite “official”. Instead of fixing or suing them, Coca-Cola embraced indigenous creativity. Just recently, the brand popped off a clever move with its campaign, "Thanks for Coke-Creating", which validated countless versions of its logo through prominent OOH and print ads, customized cans, vending machines, and trucks. Partnering with these shops and celebrating their artwork was a smart way for Coca-Cola to acknowledge their role in shaping the brand’s cultural footprint. Bagging several Golds and Silvers at the Cannes Lions, the campaign connected with diverse audiences and kept the brand’s relevance in today’s world fizzing up to the brim! In a world where everyone leaves their mark, Coca-Cola shows that the best way to refresh a classic is to let others "Coke-create". Cheers to that! That tagline is everything in one "Thank You For Coke-Creating". Just so good to deny for their category. CocaCola has made reasonable efforts to build the brand personality alongside people's lives, activities, experiences and other personal aspects of their consumers. No doubt, this has worked out for them, as the brand is now reflecting on numerous touchpoints of life, thereby strengthening the brand equity among their favourites. I often tell clients or customer relations personnel, that "your brand - store, company, product, service, NGO etc. is less about selling. It is more about creating experiences that touch lives" This determines the kind of marketing brands churn out, especially the content they create. We're not leaving the sales aspect out; it is more selling. Rather, it is this experience-creating approach that will bring more awareness and sales. Thanks for sharing, Good Ads Matter

Now, that's "thinking local, acting global".

The best kind of branding brings people together and creates a community surrounding the product/service, maintaining its relevance in a world that's constantly changing. This ad is a really great example of how good branding can connect people across the globe through one product, and no matter how the world changes, this community will keep on "Coke-creating". Kudos to Coca-Cola, this is a really amazing approach! 👏

Coca-cola in itself is history. When you have a product that has been a part of many generations, they will interpret you according to their time. I’m glad Coca-cola embraced this.

Some of these self created Coca Cola signages are truly peaces of (pop)art
