Revolutionizing Celebrations: Leidens Ontzet 450
If your mayor says no to bringing a superstar like Armin van Buuren to your hometown party, show them how we did for Leidens Ontzet!
For the 450th anniversary of Leiden’s liberation, we faced the ultimate challenge: how do you safely host an event for 50,000 people when the biggest square can only hold 12,000? With aiming to give the best experience to all the attendees, yet to guarantee a safe celebration, we had to think BIG.
Here’s what we came up with:
We found a somewhat hidden spot for Armin’s set and streamed his show across 10 locations throughout Leiden and online. With a world-class media team, innovative ideas and wireless connection, we managed to reach such a small latency, that every location still experienced the best drops in real time – at the same time. From the most impressive show moments to drone shots and crowd reactions, our unconventional livestream setup was able to cover every moment uninterrupted.
Turning a whole town to a dance floor, definitely requires planning, seamless teamwork and creative thinking, but with a crew like this, nothing is impossible! So, where should we host a party next?

The actual conference is taking place in Atlanta Jan 21-22 and the virtual event will be all day the 22nd. Our keynote the incredible Brian Solis author of Mindshift and leading voice in #CX and #customerengagement.
