There is one major risk factor when hiring a new BIM contractor that, if present, will put brakes on the whole project — from the design phase to the job site work.🙅 BAD COMMUNICATION. Many teams know how to protect their projects from a lack of experience, neglecting agreed-upon schedules, low-quality service, etc. However, when it comes to communication, it's hard to know if a BIM provider is qualified until you are already working together. Always be mindful of the BIM contractor’s communication. Do not let the low price dictate your final decision as it may cost a lot more to push the project forward. What are your thoughts? If anyone is interested in developing their skills in Electrical bim modeler, a quick thought based on my experience that might be helpful. 💬 Here are some tips for developing this skill:

BIM Coordinators job is NOT only tools, processes, and checking. It's constant communication with the design team: • Understanding bottlenecks, • Knowing who are decision-makers, • Finding out what can be improved through trial and error process 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. And communication often starts during the meetings. So today I would like to recall one super important aspect of our work - Running coordination meetings. Good Coordination Session vs. Bad One. There is a very thin line between both.
