Really ? Morocco ready for the world stage when investors have a real estate investor mentality ? Primo there is no such thing as innovation in Morocco, it's almost forbidden to innovate in this country. All tech startups in Morocco without any exception copied their business models on French tech because VC's aren't risk takers and have shaky hands so they need to make sure to get tons of KPI's prior to investing. I think that there is only one true startup in Morocco which tried to innovate and invent but was blocked by gatekeepers because of too much innovation. That was literally the reason given by the Moroccan tech scene. Wanna know why ? Because between a coffee shop and a coffee shop there's a coffee shop. We are light-years away from being able to compete with international tech not because of a lack of talent but because tech leadership is under the control of former government employees , with employee mentality. If you believe that it really has changed let's talk about it. I'm interested by your perspective if you know something that most don't.
