👏 We’re spotlighting another incredible apprentice from Hutto ISD’s Teacher Apprenticeship Program for National Apprenticeship Week! Meet Bonnie Zwierlein, at Howard Norman Elementary School. Here's why Bonnie joined the program: "I felt the experience I would gain from the program would be invaluable and provide me with a solid foundation to start my teaching career." Bonnie is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming classroom environment where all students feel safe to express themselves and confident in their learning. She’s learning essential skills like differentiating lessons to meet diverse needs, the importance of teamwork, and how to reflect and grow as an educator. ✨ National Apprenticeship Week✨ Did you know Missouri has 37 Registered Youth Apprenticeship programs in direct connection with school districts and career and technical education centers across the state? These programs provide Missouri’s youth and young adults with immediate access to hands-on learning and education in a variety of career pathways. Fort Zumwalt School District serves as a program sponsor and has over 40 active apprentices in a variety of occupations including machinist/machine operator, production technologist, health support specialist, and more. Spent yesterday teaching my son and his mates how to put up a garden fence. Now they are talking about doing it for others at the weekends. I really feel pushing practical apprenticeships can have such a positive impact on young adults. I’m doing that at my pub renovation in the Rhondda Valley❤️ #givekidsachance
