✨ COSMETICA round two got its numbers almost doubled too! The largest international trade fair related to the beauty & cosmetic industry in Algeria has become the largest exhibition in North Africa in only its second edition, according on its numbers. As the Marketing Director of Cosmetica Algeria, I’m extremely proud to announce that our B2B exhibition was sold out 3 months in advance, attracting +135 exhibitors from 10 countries, including +30 foreign exhibitors and hosting approximately 25000 Algerians and foreign visitors, mostly professionals. This second edition featured a significant expansion of the exhibition space, with 7500 m2 in Pavilion A, compared to last year's 3,000 m2 in Pavilion C. In addition, plans are already underway for an even larger third edition in 2025. COSMETICA ALGERIA 2024 united exhibitors across the cosmetic production cycle, facilitating partnerships and promoting local production to reduce imports. Aligned with governmental efforts, the expo provided a platform to strengthen international collaboration, meet export targets and elevate the global presence of Algerian cosmetic products. I extend special thanks to our hardworking team, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, speakers and visitors. Witnessing their satisfaction was the most gratifying aspect beyond all these numbers. [2024 Korea Expos Schedule] As 2024 begins, companies wishing to participate in the expo will get busy. What happens when you find your business #tribe? Last time in #Dubai I also saw Olga Bezukladova. We met originally in that transformative seminar of the Dubai Future Academy about #innovation and #future #foresight with Paul Saffo last year. She leads the regional innovation team here for Givaudan - a company founded 1895 and still based in switzerland. They are the world’s largest producer of flavors and fragrances with over 15k employees and 181 locations worldwide. Always amazing to learn about hidden champions you never heard before and sectors you never really paid attention. At the end of our catch-up, we not only shared latest updates, potentials and challenges in #innovation and #sustainability for #businesses. More and more our conversation shifted to an exchange about our experiences and phases in our #personal #development journeys. This is in my opinion what also #business is about. It is about #connections. You start to see the other person, not only their topics, role or position. One step further is when you find out that you not only share interests or goals but also similar #values and maybe even #intentions. Then, I would say you know that you found your tribe. Pretty much what I also discovered when getting stuck in a congress center during the century #floodings with the #web3 crowd. The #core of that #community shares much more than the hype around #crypto. It is first of all the mentality of going All-In, being straightforward, no Blabla or BS, solution oriented and supporting each other.
