This zepp.solutions Y50 hydrogen fuel cell system is now in its final phase of validation at our RDM Rotterdam testing facilities. Here, it will be subject to the load cycles that it will encounter in its operational life. When these tests are successfully completed, the system will be dispatched to Dynell GmbH for integration into a hydrogen-powered Ground Power Unit (GPU). This innovative H-GPU will be used by KLM Equipment Services B.V. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Royal Schiphol Group to supply electricity to an aircraft when it's stationary on the ground. Unlike the common diesel-powered systems, no CO2, (ultra)fine particle and nitrogen emissions will be produced. Operating conditions reached! After months of experimenting with different swirler and fuel injection configurations, the Lund University team has successfully conducted the first liquid fuel test at design conditions with ethanol (Re=50,000 & ~140kW). This achievement marks an important milestone for the commissioning of the TARS (Tri-Annular Research Swirler) burner for experimental investigations of sustainable alternative fuels (SAF) for aeroengine applications within the framework of CESTAP Centre of Excellence. Our member of the Management Board, Tin Viduka, participated in the conference "Potentials of hydrogen production and application in the Republic of Croatia" organized by REGEA and the City of Zagreb.   "ALTPRO, as a technological leader for railways in Southeast Europe, sees an opportunity to contribute to the decarbonisation of railways with its competences and experience. Hydrogen technologies for railway systems already exist and their application has been proven. We believe that the good practices of using hydrogen can also be applied in this area of Europe." ⛽ [ BREAKING NEWS ] ⛽ The good news has been flowing lately, and guess what? 📣 A French milestone in decarbonised, zero-emissions haulage: Lhyfe provides the #greenhydrogen fuelling station for the first centre of excellence for hydrogen trucks unveiled by Hyliko. The site brings together: ▪ A green hydrogen refuelling station dedicated to HGVs, with fast refuelling and a compression capacity of 350 bars (eventually to be upped to 700 bars). Lhyfe will supply the equivalent of hundreds of kilos of green H2 per week. ▪ A maintenance centre dedicated to hydrogen-powered HGVs, with professionals trained to handle this technology. 💬 Matthieu Guesné, Founder and CEO of Lhyfe said: “We're proud to be part of France's first centre of excellence for hydrogen trucks. A new agreement has been announced and this agreement will involve HVS (Hydrogen Vehicle Systems) delivering thirty hydrogen-electric tractor units to Explore Plant and Transport Solutions. The agreement goes on to say that the hydrogen-powered vehicles which have been supplied to the company, will be strategically deployed throughout the UK. Alongside the vehicles, to make sure this project stands the test of time and performs at its best, a service and maintenance plan will be provided, along with training around the safe use of hydrogen and refueling. The company will also receive training on which kind of infrastructure is needed.
