This week our own Nina Schamber, Judith Häberli, and Dr. Robert Ruttmann attended the Smart Mobility Summit hosted by IMO-HSG | Institute for Mobility in Berlin 🇩🇪 🌭 Under the motto Re//Thinking Mobility, the summit brought together academics, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the future of smart mobility. The discussions explored how mobility can be reshaped using new technologies and intelligent services (like Urban Connect 😎) to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction while respecting planetary boundaries.   One Deep-Dive was called "The Sky is the Limit" - but the keynote by Bertrand Piccard clarified that THE FUEL is the limit, NOT the sky. ⛽️⛔️ ..And we could not agree more*   Thank you Hans-Peter Kleebinder, Andreas Herrmann, Thorsten Tomjac, Dr. Philipp Scharfenberger and MANY more for setting up these 2 days full of insights and great exchange. We feel lucky to have been part of it!🙏🙏🙏     *The energy efficiency of a petrol engine is 20%, that of a diesel engine is 45% and that of an electric car is 75%.     

🔋⚡Vienna Electrical Days 2024 This was an amazing opportunity to discuss the future of e-mobility with some great industry experts! Our Head of Marketing at go-e, Ronald Kroke, joined a panel talk featuring Bernhard Kern from ELARIS AG, Andreas Ledermüller from epuls GmbH, and Michal Lagan from Magenta Telekom, expertly moderated by Dejan Jovicevic. 🎤Due to the rainy, stormy weather, the discussion was moved from Heldenplatz to a covered venue where it was recorded. As Europe moves towards the #decarbonization of transport, electric vehicles are becoming a key player in the future of sustainable mobility. I'm thrilled to see this progress, especially in Italy, where we've seen a 44.1% increase in public electric vehicle charging points since last year, reaching a total of 47,228 by September 2023. This growth, highlighted in the latest Motus-E report, is a testament to our collective commitment to a greener future. At #Gewiss, we are proud to contribute to this momentum.
