Keadjian Associates recently hosted a walkathon to support the Maui Strong Fund! Our team walked 1,261 miles in a month to raise funds to support the people of Maui who experienced loss due to wildfires. Additionally, the agency is donating to this important cause. This is just one of the ways we are getting involved with our communities, near and far! #MauiStrong #AlohaForMaui #TogetherForMaui #HelpMauiRecover

Your aid donation and tax money probably ends up with the humanitarian products being sold on the black market. In the below report, the Aseel team literally goes through a black market in Kabul where the World Food Programme, and all other major humanitarian organization products are sold. This is the problem of our times, we think we don’t have enough funds to feed people living in humanitarian conditions, the reality is our systems are broken, this is not a resources problem, it’s a transparency problem. Think twice before you donate next time, or even better, choose a system that reports directly back to you with a proof of delivery like Aseel.

Business Agility Expert @ SURYA Consulting | Chief Methodologist @ ABO Academy | Author of the Framework for Agile Business Ownership™
Friends from other countries, I'm going to use this channel to ask you to help more than 1 million people impacted by the flood that destroyed (and continues to destroy) a large part of our beloved state, Rio Grande do Sul, the one located in the far south of Brazil. Many needy families have lost everything and will find it very difficult to rebuild their lives. Not to mention that many cities will have to be completely rebuilt. Help by donating any amount to the Vakinha Institute, a reputable institution that is raising the most money in the region and quickly sharing it with charities. Here is the campaign website: https://lnkd.in/dvDZhPYc Here are the channels for donating via Stripe: For 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 - 𝐔𝐒𝐃, please go to https://lnkd.in/dGesp-pA For 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 - GBP, please go to https://lnkd.in/dfF6WQxq For 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨 - 𝐄𝐔𝐑, please go to https://lnkd.in/dyrGzubE

Its been about 10 days since I attempted the 100 mile race…part 2…and I’ve been contemplating the right words to express. Every time there is a lesson, I just need to be truthful to my own thoughts to realize this. I can tell you it is a lot harder to write this email on back of not finishing the race. “Going half way is still good” I keep hearing – I sometimes say its very good…its like meeting half of last year’s budget (bit finance joke). It is not the fact that I was about 20 min late to 50 mile aid station that irritated me. It is not the fact that I did not give myself best chance of success by failing to wear contact lenses instead of glasses, not having waterproof clothing as I went through 45 miles over ankle mud or just poor navigation and getting lost for extra 6 miles. What irritated me is that I just had hard time accepting reality – I’m annoyed that not finishing annoyed me and it is even difficult to admit this. Spent a lot of time thinking about why I felt this way to try and give back some value for support I’ve received. As father of 3, watching them grow, each one of them was filled with enthusiasm for progress. How often did I see them fall while they learned to walk. Did they pout and be hard on themselves? Kids fail all the time and it does not impact them at all. They just get back up and try and try…and try again…without giving an inch to self doubt. At what point do we lose this mentality? Each time I do these types of events it is one person enter and another come out. It is reiteration for me of long-life lesson that failure is just delayed success, it is part of progress. Don’t forget how to fail and let the road to improvement be paved with failures – no matter what we are doing. I’m hoping that I have the strength to keep this mentality in all aspects of life and that you draw some positives for you. Thank you everyone for support and we’ve made great contribution to Juventu’d youth soccer with over 1200$ in donations. Race Stats: Distance: 56 miles Total time: 17hrs 26min Total calories: 8,143 Total vertical gain: 8,468 ft
================================================ Last year we collected over 3000$ for local food bank in Revere from just incredible current/former colleagues, friends across the network and race participants. I am very humbled by the amount of support I received and it gave me courage to once again try to make incredible memory. On October 7th, I’ll be running 100 mile ultra marathon (Massive Midstate 100) from New Ipswich, NH to CT in effort to raise funds for local community. Please see more detail in this video and Venmo link for donations is below. #supportlocalbusiness #fundraising Regards, Miko For donations: https://lnkd.in/eGbA634s Club Site: www.fcjuve.com

We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to our Winter Appeal, between online and offline donations we have nearly reached 70% of our target. However, there is still time to donate! For the next 8 days all donations, up to the value of £250, will continue to be doubled through the Aviva match fund! Demand for our support is greater than ever. Rebuild does not have the resources to support everyone who needs it. Can you help us to ensure that no one recovering from the impact of Modern Slavery in Derbyshire has to rebuild their lives alone but has access to support? Ummazing 3.0 is right around the corner and with it some big things are being launched... The biggest is a Ramadan Race which has two elements attached: 1. A Real-Time Leaderboard - Where businesses can compete with one another to rank #1 in their respective category. There are 5 main ways businesses can gain points (these are laid out below). 2. Charity Component - Where a business can set a pledge and set an amount each upvote is worth and the business gives that in Sadaqah during this blessed month. Say a business pledges to donate £1,500 and they set each upvote to £1.50. If a business now gets 150 upvotes, the business will donate £225. Who's excited for the Ramadan Race? Because we sure are!

Projects for Humanity has made calculating Zakat easy. Check out our Zakat calculator 👇 https://lnkd.in/eTj9xcH What is Zakat al Mal? It's a mandatory contribution of 2.5% of a Muslim's accumulated wealth, which should be donated to the poor and needy. The proceeds are distributed to eight eligible groups, including the poor, the needy, debt-ridden individuals, and those traveling with few resources. At P4H, we have several Zakat-eligible projects to which you can donate. If you have any questions, feel free to DM us. #projectsforhumanity #nonprofit #charity #Zakat #Ramadan #Ramadan2024
