Our #office baking-competition is back. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱? With a discussion among colleagues: Who makes the best brownies? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴? Every couple of months we are hosting a bake-off in the office. We pick a special theme and 4-5 colleagues volunteer to contribute a dish. Colleagues from different teams and functions get together to try the food and pick their favorite. The winner receives highest appreciation and an invitation to defend their title at the next competition. Today's theme was: "Savory in three colors". #culture #employeeengagement #funatwork

We had such an amazing time at our Quartly Town Hall at The Ben Hotel! Sometimes, amidst our busy schedules, we overlook the importance of having FUN, bonding with each other, and reveling in our achievements. But not at Concord Hospitality Enterprises as FUN is one of our Cornerstones! One highlight of our recent town hall was theming it around the infectious energy of our GM, Bernardo Neto, and his trademark 'Bernardoisms'! Whether it's "You've gone down a Rabbit Hole," "I've gone down a Rabbit Hole," or our recent favorite, "This is America, I was told anything is possible," these phrases never fail to bring a smile to our faces and remind us to infuse FUN into everything we do. Let's make sure to never lose sight of the FUN, the passion, and the camaraderie that make our workplace truly special. As stated in the Concord Handbook, "We believe that happy associates make happy guests and we strive to instill a company culture where associates look forward to coming to work because they enjoy their co-workers, the challenges, and the atmosphere. That depends on who you are, where you live, or how you like to celebrate those EXTRA days of responsible irresponsibility! Memorial Day signals the "official beach opening day." Or, since we live in Florida, it's the day the lifeguards are on duty full-time and the artsy beach shops, restaurants, and ice cream meccas open EARLIER. Grocery stores will be shopper chaos over BOGOs on hot dogs, buns, deli meat, and condiments. Yes, I have more than one variety of mustard, mayo, ketchup, and hot sauce in the pantry/fridge at all times 𝗦𝗼, 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱? Shoppers will spend upwards of $7.7 billion this holiday preparing for family gatherings, and consumers will eat 818 million pounds of our favorite BBQ meats. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲? As analysts, we track these "season" to help our clients understand if their promotions are effective, if they have the right assortment with the "trendy flavors, colors, or ingredients," and if their shelf placement maximizes sales and minimizes out-of-stocks. Yes, Memorial Day week fast approaches, then July 4th, then Labor Day, and then summer and the season is over. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 "𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻."
