Big news out of Arizona this morning with Max Power Mining Corp #MAXX #MAXXF confirming the discovery of near-surface lithium-rich clays over a large area of their Willcox Playa property. Notably, they've also successfully separated the lithium from the clay through their collaboration with UC Berkley. NR: https://lnkd.in/gXwPyBbV Highlights: -Each of the first three triangular-spaced drill holes in the northern section of MAX Power’s property, the Discovery Zone covering an area 1,640 feet x 1,640 feet x 2,300 feet, intersected lithium at shallow levels over significant widths, including 15.5 feet grading 774.8 ppm lithium within a broader whole rock interval of 184 feet averaging 570.8 ppm lithium in drill hole WP-23-02 -When separating the clay fraction from the sand/silt fraction, lithium assays increased markedly, by as much as 47%, assaying up to 1,447 ppm lithium -This early-stage discovery remains open in all directions with MAX Power also exploring options to expand its land package -Based on a compilation of MAX Power’s work to date, and historical data, geologists believe the Discovery Zone represents just a fraction of the scale potential of Willcox with higher-grade mineralization expected in areas of increased clay content. #Mining #Lithium #EV #BatteryMetals

While trenching, the biggest advantage of a trencher is enabling you to use the crushed material for padding and trench backfill. It's important to choose the right picks; good enough to pulverize the spoil and shovel it out of the trench before conveying it back as immediate backfill or stocked on the trench shoulders for later use. #Trenching #Mining #ConicalPicks #Optimization

Dateline Resources Limited recently announced diamond drill results from two holes drilled into the North Pipe at the Colosseum mine, located in San Bernardino County, California, US. The two holes, the first to be drilled by Dateline at the North Pipe, were drilled to test for extensions of the mineralised zone and verify historical drill results undertaken in the late 1980’s prior to mine development. The data obtained will also be used in mine planning. When the Colosseum mine was operational in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, the main focus was on the South Pipe, with only a relatively shallow pit developed at the North Pipe.
