I usually don't write posts in English. Let's see if you can figure out why this one is not in Swedish 😉 First of all, I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone in my network a fantastic start to 2024! I'm looking forward to seeing all the amazing things we will accomplish together this year.🌟🌟🌟 It's incredible how fast time flies, especially when you love your job and have the opportunity to work with amazing people and on something you're truly passionate about.🙏 I had the privilege of starting at Mekonomen Company Sweden in 2018 and immersing myself in their tire business. There were many questions in search of answers. 👉What was needed to achieve a profitable tire business? 👉How do we reverse a downward trend? 👉What can we do to raise competence in our workshops and also within the industry? 👉Why should a workshop work with tires? Yes, there were many questions. Changing things and mindsets takes time. But we did it together, and in 2022 we hit an all-time high!🇸🇪🎉🌟 Throughout 2023, we continued to develop Bileko Tires and the tire business, while also launching Bileko Tires in Norway 🇳🇴🌟🎉 I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me and Bileko Tires over the years for the work we have accomplished together. A big thank you 🙏 But now it's time for a new journey. We are about to tackle the tire business from a MEKO Group-perspective and together build a "STRONGER MEKO" Exciting times lie ahead! Never before has MEKO collaborated across borders in the tire business! Can you imagine, about 6200 employees, 600 stores, and 4300 workshops spread across 8 countries! Am I the only one who sees the potential? 😁 This is going to be an incredibly cool journey and it's time again to buckle up🚀. The adventure begins, my friends. How far or high we go is up to us. So from now on, we begin to develop the tire business from a MEKO perspective. I would say great colleagues and the innovative culture within the company. It's a fascinating industry where you learn something new every day, guaranteeing that each day is different. Our exceptional customers play a significant role too, pushing us to create innovative solutions and propelling our development forward each and every day.   Do you have any hobbies or other interests? I enjoy training a lot and participating in various sports. It's key to keeping both the mind and body refreshed week after week.   How do you describe the company's culture and values? We have a culture where you feel supported and valued, with open communication.   How do you balance work and your personal life? It can be challenging since you're often connected to work in some way at all times. However, I tackle this challenge by planning my weeks well and ensuring that I also make time for other activities outside of work.   How do you learn and grow in your role? I make a conscious effort to engage in frequent conversations with experienced colleagues, aiming to absorb as much knowledge from them as possible.   How do you collaborate with colleagues and managers? How has it been to start as a trainee at Barel? - It has been incredibly exciting to start a completely new job in a new country. From the first day I felt like I was part of the Barel family. We really work as a team here. 2. What is the most exciting thing you have learned so far? - For me, the most exciting part of the job is the large machines and technology we use here, in addition to the good training and follow-up I have received. 3. What did you know about Barel before you started working here? - I knew that the company was located in Norway and that they produced products for hazardous areas.
