The KRT team is excited to announce our investment into Drip Over Skill. D.R.I.P is an eye-black company founded by local entrepreneur Jon Reibel, MBA. Jon saw both a gap in the market and an opportunity to teach his son about business while addressing a cause that he is passionate about, mental health in sports. D.R.I.P. has since become a leading eye-black company on Amazon and we are excited to continue to partner with Jon to grow the company and his dream. By providing KRT's support with D.R.I.P's financials, capital needs, marketing and branding, and it's organizational needs, we believe that Jon has created a company that will have a positive impact on the users of it's products as well as everyone associated with the D.R.I.P organization. The fact that the product is pretty freaking cool helps too. ;)
Super excited to be working with Drip Over Skill to launch their new eye black! With natural ingredients and unbeatable performance, it's a game changer to help you look good and play great. Make sure to drop them a follow and stay tuned for their crowdfunding campaign to launch next week! www.dripoverskill.us #DripOverSkill

Vintage Mustang and private jets? Sprinkle in a few raindrops and you've got yourself a dynamite photo and video shoot. Thanks to our friends at Valo Media, Danny Carpenter, and Digital Wolf LLC. It's rough, but someone has to do this.

In the category of books that inspire our team and guide our mentality, we highly recommend "Unreasonable Hospitality", by Will Guidara. "We are in the middle of a digital transformation. That transformation has enhanced many aspects of our lives, but too many companies have left the human behind. They've been so focused on products, they've forgotten about people. And while it may be impossible to quantify in financial terms the impact of making someone feel good, don't think for a second that it doesn't matter. In fact, it matters more." This is an inspiring read with engaging stories of the magic of leading a great business while being focused on the art of being people-centric.

“Since day one, it’s been about elevating others…” Brett Logan started Immaculate Flight in 2005 and has been focused on serving people and growing businesses ever since. KRT Collective got it’s start when Brett recognized a need for strategic and operational support within his collection of businesses and investments. Brett gathered a team of key strategists that encompass the core elements of what every business needs: Finance, HR, Marketing, Development, and Executive support. This group formed what is known as KRT Collective and from there, we were cleared for take-off. We start our relationships with capital investment, we build long-term growth strategies, and then we get to work executing operational needs. Since day one it’s been about using our resources to elevate others. We are a private-capital firm but we care more about people than profits. We strive to break down barriers to personal and professional success and our goal is to continually grow and help others to do the same.

For our engineering, architecture, contractor and trades friends. Our client and all around great guy, Eric DeVries, PE, CEM® of E3M Solutions will be hosting this event and giving an update on the State of Michigan's new commercial energy code. Topics to include the following, and then some: - Buildings are going to be required to be more efficient, not just equipment, but operation and use of building, as well. - Requirements around system design are more stringent as efficiency levels are getting higher. - Requirements around active energy management - you are now required to have plans for how to use your equipment. E3M lives at the intersection of Energy and Engineering and Eric has 20+ years of experience within both industries. Eric sits on various local and state level boards and has a deep understanding of applying Energy Forward thinking to MEP Engineering. Register at the link provided if you're interested. Thanks!

"Practice what you preach." Our internal team has had a great two days of Crucial Conversations training led by none other than our own HR Strategist, Lisa Borre, MBA, SHRM-SCP. A question we are often asked is "How do you create culture?". Well, one way to do that from the top down is to prioritize the ongoing education of yourself and your team. In this instance, the KRT team spent two days learning how to better manage conflict and hold difficult conversations in ways that create positive outcomes personally and professionally. Thanks to Crucial Learning and Starbucks for the content and coffee. ;)
